2 fuses draining the battery: AND : Digi Dash Power Supply

ok for the first ques:

1) When I have my Clearance Illumi or Theft Warning fuses in, it drains the battery and says lights are on even if they are not for the Clearance Illumi fuse, My friend said that replacing the switchs (behind the steering wheel ie. turn on your lights)should fix that

any suggestions of what it could be????

2) the fuel and temp,bat,oil dont work as well as the stuff in the bottom right on my digi dash (it sometimes cuts on and cuts off randomly) I took the power supply out (the little metal box 5by5by1) am I sussposed to open the box up and look at the circuit board for loose particles or something???

any help would be greatly apprech....

1) try cleaning the light switches. also try making sure that your security light goes off after 60 seconds from locking the car door with the key. if it's not going on - or blinks constantly one of your sensors is stuck open or not making contact properly.

2) the power supply will fix your trip meter (bottom right) but probably not your fuel/temp/bat/oil sections. Open the power supply box and (using a strong magnifying glass) look at the circuitboard where the connector pins are soldered through to it. Odds are good that you will find some that are cracking. resolder them and your tripmeters will come back. If you're really lucky then you're other gauges will come back too.
