Glad you were able to get yours fixed, i have the same problem. I have a 87 N/A that's doing the same as you described. I was not sure at first until you commented about the o2 sensor. My car runs like crap but was drivable until i plugged the o2 sensor up. When hooked up it idles and runs good for about a block then shuts down. could cycle it off and it would start right back up and go about another block. unplug the o2 and would run bad but could drive it. I bought the car sight unseen for a really good price but it had transmission problems and this running issue from day one. it was a project car but now have to get fixed to have a DD. It also has a manual conversion (had a wrecked parts car). I have the intake off about to put injectors in it but i think i will swap the computer out of my parts car first. Thank you for your complete post and replying back with your fix, your right in most of the time someone either finally gives up and sells their car or fixes it and does not tell how. Will be a couple of days until i have time again but will post my findings.
