Wheels

Food for thouht, my wheels were looking rught so I decided to do something different. I purchased from advance auto two cans of spray paint stripper. next I sprsyed each wheel and to my amaze the lacker plus the years of break dust came bubling off.Caution use gloves, then I did the same proceedure again, and what adifference, the wheels look new. I also purchase spray clearcoat from advance and re-coate them. Now the wheels look GREAT. of course I could not domuch with the scratches but they do shine and it was verry simple and fast. SO BRING THE SHINE BACK TO YOUR WHEELS, GIVE THEM A NEW LIFE TO YOUR RIDE.

for my wheelz on my 1982 280zxt they looks oxadized faded etc... so i took 800 wet grit and went all the way up to 2000 wet grit and my outer lip of the wheelz are so shiny that i can see myself like a mirror in them... hears the steps i did started with 800 grit to get ride of deep scratches went to 1000 grit to clean up the 800 grit then to 1200 grit to get everything SMOOTH... then to 1500 grit to start the luster process then to 2000 grit and took my time to make sure every nook and cranny was well done , after sanding with water and sandpaper i washed off the wheelz and let them dry then i used ( mohters ) aluminum polish rub it in until black then let it dry i hit it one more time after buffing away the old polish and wow !!!
