New body part

For those of you who don't frequent z31.com, here is a link to my post at that site concerning a CF hood installed on my z.

There are pictures (there for a few days only) and the thread goes on and on and on (Energizer Bunny). Some good, some critical, all interesting.

That is a sweet hood man! How much does it weigh, and did you do the hood pins yourself?

I'm not sure if someone else has already asked you this question, but do you know if it will fit on the '87-'89 models? And it'd be great if you could give us the link to the site where you purchased it from...or if you know of any sites that'll sell a carbon fiber hood specifically for the '87-'89 models. I've been search for one of those things since forever!...never had any success though

Yeah, that's the reason why I didn't really get to read through them...there are millions of 'em!! So I thought it would just be much quicker to ask the source...I'll just have to wait and see what he has to say, or maybe when I have the time, I'll dig through the posts on that site.

Yeah, I've seen those on eBay before...but some claim to fit the '84-'89 while others claim to only fit the '84-'86. I'm positive that the hoods are different between the two body style, and one of these two individuals must be wrong (or only partially correct):
