Hot air from the A C

Hey all, i've got an 86 5spd N/A 2+2 and i've had it for just 1 year now and let me just say, its my first car and i love it ^^. I am not to knowlegable about automotive stuff yet but i am just trying to get all the bugs worked out of Z this summer. My problem is this: when i accelerate or have been driving at high rpms for a while warm air starts to flow from the air conditioning vents..i thought i remeber seeing somewhere that all i have to do was replace some tubing or something but i need some clarification. Any help as to how i can stop the hot air from comming in would be a great help.

vacuum hoses. start replacing them under the hood first. chances are, they've never been replaced and are dry and cracking from the heat.

Would you have any reccomendation as to how I should go about replacing them? This is my first car and I would really hate to ruin anything by making a simple mistake. I am trying to become more mechanically inclined, but at the moment I am just a beginner

try replacing them one at a time. don't rip them all out and hope you remember where they all went.
