Well guys, once again I have a problem. The passenger door on my 300zx won't shut. You try to shut the door and it just bounces right back open. I looked at the latch and it is open. I can shut it with my fingers and reopen it, but I still can't get the damn door shut. I have no idea what to do when it comes to door latches and would appreciate some help. Thanks guys. Pete

 

kindof having the same problem, but my handle sticks up, maybe take everything apart and lub it up!!!!

 

Okay... same problem with my cougar. In the latch, there's on the bottom side of the latch that helps wrap around the post on the doorjam of the car. Move it up ONE CLICK, it'll close like butter.

 

What do mean by up one click? It wouldn't move up anymore.

 

my drivers door is doing this now...what a pain...no ideas on a fix?
