Engine compartment....
Alright I was looking under the hood of my car the other day and I am really dissappointed that the thing is extremely dirty under there, does anyone have any suggestions on what I should use to clean it, and NO I dont want to have to take the engine out to clean it, just too much work for me right now....any help would be appreciated....

If everything is not rusted and badly discolored, then this should help. GUNK makes an engine cleaner that works really well. It usually only takes one can. You will spray down the engine with this stuff and let it sit for a little while then pressure wash the engine. I have seen it and it does work wonders. Also, a lot of carwashes now will clean your engine for you, but who wants to spend money on something that easy to do yourself?

There's a big risk to doing this. There are lots of electronic components and electrical connections in there. Water doesn't work well with either of those items. If you do decide to do that, you'll want to dry it out also; such as using compressed air. You don't want to leave those components wet. I have done it without any problems, but I have seen it cause major problems. It's your car, so it's your call.
