Need 2-seater back hatch

Hey guys I was wondering what was the easiest way to save wieght on the back hatch. I know that glass back there weighs a ton. Is there a company that makes a hatch that looks almost like a del sol hatch. I have seen them for Porshas but I dont think for the 300zx. Some one please help my car weighs in at an astonding 3400 pounds. It it needs to lose some of that fat.

Edit: Alright Im going to do this but I need a starter back hatch anyone that happens to have one lying around and is willing to get rid of the thing for real cheap please let me know. This should turn out very nice once I get a mold and everything done.

Thank you that is what I am looking for now where do I find one? Or can someone make one. I really like the way that white one looks. And the thing has to be alot less heavy than the other hatch.

you just have to make my life hard. its cool it means i have some searching to do maybe ill make a mold of one myself. Never done that much fiberglass before though. Maybe Carbonfiber would be even better. This seems like alot doesn't it. But doesn't that back hatch weigh way to much?

Ingui-Z-tor you have been a very big help. Although I highly ever doubt I will find anything like it. I am going to try my hand at making the thing. This might become very interesting. I have laid fiberglass before never quite that much.

Maybe Ill start from an old hatch or something. Are the hatches diffrent from year to year and 2+2 or are they all the same. I checked out how much it would cost to get the glass put in. Right around 100 bucks so this hatch might turn out to be rather costly if it ever gets sold.
