To Winterize

I am pullin my engine to replace gaskets, install a block warmer, and get it ready for thew -40 degree winters up younder in Alaska. Will the felpro hold up to this, or is a copper gasket a better choice(well der it is but still) any recommended things i should do before i go there. My oil pan gasket only leaks like 1 drop a day, but the cold will finish it off i'm sure. All gaskets, front and rear seal. What else do ya'll canada guys recommend.

the only thing thats gonna be a definatly is fresh coolant mixed properly and tested with a gauge. make sure there is no fuel leaks that allow water to get in the fuel. good battery, optima is the best for the cold, no water to deal with. oil leaks wont really matter. the block heater is a must for that cold. hey fubar, i found that 2 bolt t-stat housing you wanted!! let me know if you stil need it.
