Hey guys and girls! I'm in the process of "restoring" my '81 280zx and I'm having issues getting the chrome window belt trim off. I've removed my mirrors, but the trim is held in by small square clips with an arrow pointing upward. I've tried prying in every direction and it will not budge. I'd like to try and refrain from breaking anything, but if someone would be able to give me tips I would greatly appreciate it as I've only been able to find threads on windshield trim.

 

Hey.
The little square clips rotate a quarter turn and then pop out.
There are 6 clips per door.
Don't worry if you break one because they're still available.
I know Z Car Source has them ( https://zcarsource.com/door-upper-mo...80zx-79-83-new ), and you might also be able to find them on ebay.
