225/60/14's are generally the largest you can go on the stock 14" wheels, regardless of which style.
In my opinion, they don't look right. I would prefer a 5x series. 215/5x/14 is about ideal, but you can't find these in a 14" anymore. In my opinion, the next best looking 'wide' tire on the stock wheels is the 205/60/14.
When you make the leap to after market wheels, you have a lot more options. I'm running 245/45/16's on the front on 16x8" wheels and 265/45/16's on the rear on 16x9" wheels.
Rod is running crazy 18" wheels on his ZX, but I'm not sure what width.

thats not a mod. but just a bolt on...craig i think you edited that to make me look stupid..lol, which is not hard. But still, you should be able to find 18"s in 0 offset, no...well w/e i was tring to help...***.^
OR........................you can go down to a custom rim shop and have them make you whatever the hell you want in whatever offset, backspacing, rim width, diameter or finish...it is not THAT much more than getting a new set of dubs...<----did I say that right?
Just get the frickin' adaptors from Modern MotorSports already for the love of God!
Then you can put any damn "Honda" wheel you want to on your car...
And everybody can quit asking me how I got 18's to fit my car.
