what to do??

Okay, the past couple of months, I've been looking over hybridZ, and gaining opinions from alot of posts, and I have decided that I am not ready for a V8 swap or any RB swaps, because frankly, I don't have the time. I have a 79 ZX, and I am just looking for more power. Is it possible or common to take a rebuilt L28 engine (turbo) and have it put in my ZX? I've read on here that turboing a non-turbo L28 is not a good/easy thing to do... pt.2: how much money am I looking at?

Thanks,
JB

its very common to take a turbo engine and stick it into a NA
if you get the whole engine (with turbo and everything on it) it shouldlnt be hard at all to do the swap...get ahold of a turbo engine with ECU and all the gadgets...should run you around 500 (not rebuilt) so i have seen around plus expect to spend another 500 for miscelenious components (i always leave myself 500 dollar buffer on top of my total cost because **** always comes up!!!)

i say for a 1000 you could do it yourself...

and yes turboing a non-turbo engine is not that easy (currently doing so due to lack of Z cars in god-damn canada!!!! but oh well good learning )

here is a good link....http://www.strausz.us/zcar/turboswap/
