So we just ajusted the valve lash on the blue bird and i still has some clicking in the valve train not much but a little. Is it normal to have a little clicking on Z cars being that the cam is on top of the motor and not inside???

 

Well, since I've never heard one that doens't tick a little (even the super rodded ones) I'd say that a little clicking is normal. I like to cal it the "Nissan Tick". My '95 truck (Vg-30 motor) does it as well.

 

Yes, the soft ticking is fine. You'll never get rid of it.
