whutup, yall. I got this '82 zx. I wanna put in a twin turbo 350 and a Stingray Vette tranny. I've heard of this being done before, but I need some advice from some people who've done it.


I was also thinking of crossing a 400 and a 350 and getting a 383 stroker...

I mean, will that even fit under the hood? it seems like a longshot to me. I was actually hoping to have to cut a custom scoop, but hey. What about the tranny? what kind of problems have people had with those?

And differential ratios? All that torque would probly tweak the frame, huh? Maybe I could change them to a faster gearset to make up for all that raw torque?

I dunno. Just stuff I need to know before I start. Thanx.

 

Check out hybridz.org, they have a Chevy forum dedicated to the any Chevy swap. I am sure the guys there can help you out as some of them have done some insane things to their Z's.
