So i followed your advice and took the car back to my main z guy. (The one who diagnosed the problem with the combo switch). And had him at least try to clean the connections as you suggested. Apparently a previous owner had tried to install an alarm system and hacked through the wiring harness :doh: . Had left a huge wiring mess and lots of exposed wires (my z guy said i was lucky it didn't start a fire). Well, he cleaned it up and now I my Z is completely working, running lights, dash lights, (I thought they were orange), minus an alarm system that was completely useless. My Z guy had to take out most of the interior to work on the problem, but boy was it worth it. He gave us a good deal too! So i just wanted to thank you and this forum for giving us access to experienced Z car owners knowledge and advice.
