Here's my "old" ZX. The spoiler is the same one, bought from MSA.

That was exactly what I was looking for! When you say old does that mean you got a different one?

Technically, I still have it, though I'll be selling it soon. My main ZX now is a turbo with a genuine ZXR spoiler. Here's the 2, side-by-side before I changed the suspension and muffler on the turbo.

i like them both. the first pic though i did not care for how the spoiler ends stuck out away from the car. I would try to mold them into the body to give it more of a flowing aspect. for that it would have to be a 3 piece.

I still think the S130 looks best with no wing at all. But thats just my personal opinion. I dont think it looks bad with a wing, I just prefer it without one.

I sure would be interested in seeing what a ducktail spoiler looks like on the 280ZX, but they only seem to make em for the 1st gen's. If I'm not mistaken, I it's also known as a BRE spoiler.

I'm starting to think that too, at least for my 2+2. I was going to go with a small spoiler but I think now I'll keep the rearend simple and clean.

Ooh! That's exactly what I'm talking about! I was thinking of just taking a 1st gen spoiler and rigging it on. Is that what you did? It sure is tempting; I think that smaller spoiler might look better with my rear end, but the ZXR spoiler is both rare and more functional at high speed...

MSA sells those spoilers. They are basically the S30, 240Z rear spoiler. Fairlady Zs commonly had them.

The white S130 is my JDM import Fairlady. The factory S30 bobtail is actually a bit longer across the width of the car than the one off the Fairlady. Looks like it could be tweaked to fit too.

Heat Rave was cool enough to sell me his F-40 wing, which is a bit bigger, and I still have to mount it,. but it's a cool wing for the S130. I'll post pics when it's mounted!!
