Check fuel pump, fuel filter, injectors and regulator. Could be any of those or maybe just from a buildup of gunk in the gas tank.

Just thought about something else too, how old is your turbo? Does it have shaft play? Maybe it's freezing up from wear. And also check the O2 sensor.

tps

need to check the throttle position switch with an ohm meter and check its function. Be sure air cleaner is clean and you might want to check exhaust system if its old. Catalic converters have been known to come apart and plug up or restrict exhaust..........One other thing i thought of, whats the boost gauge doing when it starts bogging down. Watch it and see if boost starts to go up or if just loose all vaccum and no boost at all. Need to take of heat shield and watch the by-pass controller move at the turbo. You will see it, its round and has a rod coming out of center, make sure it is working and hose going to it is not split or off

directions

just follow step by step what book says and you should be okay. You can test it on the car which you should do so you will know if that is the problem or not. If you cant figure it out let us know and will try to put it i plainer english. It sounds complex but it is easy to if you know how to use an ohm meter. Which is what you need to set it correctly...

tps

1 diconnect tps and look on plug and tps for the #'s 29 &30
2 test meter by touching red and black probes, needle should go to 0 and may beep, if yours does this, mine does.
3 you will need help
4 red probe to either 29 0r 30 on tps and black to other
5 you will need tach to work
6 have someone start car while you watch meter. When you touch probes to tps slots meter will move. Check your idle speed, then rev engine to 900 slowy while watching meter. As engine hits 900 rpm's tps should cut off and needle will go back down like your not touching anything with probes. You may have to adjust it one way or other to achieve this. If you have no conntinuity in any position replace it.........
