Someone with a 1981 280zx turbo please help.

I have a 1981 280zx with some ignition problems. I bought the car with a missing distributor and coil, plus some of the wires where the coil is mounted are cut.

Could someone with a 1981 280zx turbo take a few pictures of the are where the coil is mounted so I can see how the wiring is connected?

I would appreciate it!!!!!



I added a picture of my wiring problem. I put numbers next to the items I need help with.

damn! whoever did that hack job needs a kick in the teeth. I have wiring schematics for ya. whas your email? I'd take a pic of mine, but it's all in loom & I have an aftermarket setup anyway.

I bought the car for 170.00 so you can imagine some of my problems. The guy I bought it from says that someone cut the wires and stole the distributor and coil. Now I'm trying to get it running :)

I need help with my 1981 280zx turbo
 
I just resently did an engine swap on my nissan 300zx z31, i used the engine and wiring of a 81 280zx but the ingnition coil and the ballast were missing and the wires are cut i have no clue of what goes where. now i have everything almost back together but I’m not getting any spark. I can’t figure out which wires go where. Anyone that has a 280zx please send me a picture of the ignition system or something that could help me i have been stuck on that for over two months now. Thanks

So you used a 81 280ZX Turbo harness? Pics would be helpful... And I can't imagine anyone doing an engine swap without the associated FSM, so please download it here: XenonZcar.com S130 Factory Service manuals
I've attached wiring diagrams.
