So there I was.....

...driving down the highway today, when I catch something hitting the road in the side mirror. It's small, rectangular, and black. Don't think much about it, then something dawns on me. My black ribbed side pillar is sorta loose. So I look again in the side mirror and sure enough, pillars gone!! DAMN!!!!!

Mad suckage man, same bit happened to my window side-trim piece on the Integra - of course it just had to get run over by the trailer my car was on ...

I think I'm going to try to get some stainless and black them out. Seen it done and it looks pretty good, plus stainless are a bit easier to relace if need be...

I think blacking out stainless ones looks better. Smoother. I did that with my original stainless vents. I dont know what ever happened to those. I took them off when I started painting my car and I never could find them again. Thats when I put on the current black plastic ones.

Yeah man, I was going to suggest that. And it is quite easy to locate the stainless ones. Good luck to you bud.

Hey Carl, I have spare pillars from my spare ZX; my spare ZX is a 2+2, so I don't know if it will fit yours, but if you think that it fits, let me know and it's yours.

2-seater and 2+2 pillars are very different. They will not interchange. Same with the wing windows, doors, back hatch, and t-tops.

so the pillar actually broke free from the stud that secures it to the car. I was thinking the nut just came loose or something.

All that time I spent trying to figure out how to remove those things... Turns out all I have to do is drive really fast and they'll fly off by themselves!

Rod.
