question about weight

hi, anyone know the TOTAL weight of the 5 speed transmission w/ bell housing and all.. I am trying to get a shipping rate, but having trouble finding the correct weight. from my 79'

I shipped a 5-speed recently and I'm sure I made a post about the weight so others would know. I can't find the post now.

I made a small frame out of wood on the bottom of the transmission. I had a carboard box made to fit and filled it with packing peanuts. The total weight was 85-95 pounds. So the transmisson itself probably weighs in at 80-90 pounds.

j, I have UPS worldship on my comp at work. That's how I am shipping mine. If you give me your ship to and from zip codes, i will get you a rate. UPS ships ANYTHING up to 150 lbs.
