Weight

does any one have an idea of how much does a 1971 240z weight? i heard they weighes less than the 72 + 240z'z but i'd like to know how much does my car weigh STOCK! its gutted right now with a rollcage/rollbar on it but its gutted big time. so i'd like to know how much the STOCK for the 71's are so i could haev an idea of how much weight i have lost :P

no i bought the car but it seems that the car was gutted before they put it together to sell it to me. and since it had no dashboard it had no vin # i guess. or idk what happeend but the vin # the dmv placed it on where the car info if SUPPOSED to be. so i need to get the info from somewhere else

Double check zhome, as I recall the '70-'71s came in at about 2200lbs and the '72-'73s came in at about 2400lbs give or take a few lbs. Basically I believe that there was a 200lb difference between them.

hehehe SWEET! so i got a weight difference of a fat guy so pretty much if i have some fat *** on my passenger (my cuzn )side. its the same as if i was driving a 72 + Z ...... haha thats awsome. lucky me

be careful of the fatty cause you could totally weigh more than a 72!!!

I hate to tell you, 200lbs for an adult male is NOT fat. How many guys do you know that are 6' and weigh 150lbs? Think about it. Then again if you are 5'4" and 200lbs well....
