I dig the blue you had. Seems like your trying to make it look like a s30. The *** looks like it wants to be a s30,old porshe with a hint of s130 in it. But I give you props. Always cool to see something different on the site.

Hey I always appreciate any support. Thanks all.
When I sold my 260z and picked up this zx, I knew It
wouldn't be hard to setup to drift, but the typical zx
look just wasn't a flattering. Haha
That is where I had to get experimental ha. The rear turned
out better looking than I expected.

How'd you mount the turn signals to the 260 grille?

There are a bunch different ways to mount it.
I have it fixed mounted to the front bumper and zip tied
to the hood tension bars that run from left to right across the front.
That ended up being best, because you have to remove the grille
to fully open the hood, so I modded it to swing forward when I wanted
to open the hood.

Turn signals are also 260. They zip tied to the hood bars haha

I live in Wyoming. I don't see many z cars around here.
Most owners are s30 guys, I never see them out. Ha

Most of the Z's here are mostly Z33's, a few Z32's and I've only seen one other S130 driving around. My 66 year old nieghbor hides a 440hp wide-body S30 in his garage, it hasn't been out in about a year and a half. Has a whole other motor and turbo kit just sitting in the garage.

I don't think it ever will be, he's under the impression noone will give him what he wants for it. And he's had it for 20+ years, has a build log to prove it. It sits because he's deciding whether to build the spare L28ET and shoot for 500+ hp, or do a swap.

Love the car, too bad you're not in SoCal so I can admire it in person.
I'm kind of confused about one thing though, doesn't the 280zx come with pop-up headlights rather than the 240-280z style headlights? Just wondering what the story is behind that..

The 280zx is the oddball z. It looks little 240z/260z/280z
In the front, but has the bulky bumpers and width like a z31.
Needs the most work to look even halfway decent. Ha

I've never really been a fan of the 280zx to be honest, but they've grown on me a lot recently. Partly thanks to yours.
I guess you can say I like the oddball-ness of it...

Haha I deleted my Facebook and started a car domain.
Its a bit easier to just update and view friends cars.
Without having to scroll through all the photos of someone's
cat, or see status updates of what they had for dinner.

Awful Hero is definitely not dead.
The unfriendly garage fb page is still up.
Two other people manage that one.
