people who pay cash and dont pick up the car?

sold the 81 on ebay for 625 a couple weeks ago, the check cleared and i have the cash in hand, now the guy is supposed to arange shipping, but he hasnt emailed me since thursday, so im giving him seven days to pick up the car, or contact me, is it legal to still have the money for the car and still keep the car because he never contacted or came to pick it up?

Thats tricky...I don't think it is legal unless the person was told in advance that if the car is not picked up by a certain time then they lose the money and the car. Worse case, you give back the money and keep the car.

Thats a start, I would still wait a few days after the seven just to be a nice guy cause hey sometimes crap happens But 10 day max then I would relist the car. But hold onto that money until you can find out for sure.

Their loss your gain...I didn't know you had it listed 5 times...I only heard of a few times it was listed. Once I get to GA and start makin my own money again I think I am going to have a collection of cars, parts and parts cars, lol Mostly Z's.

It's a good suggestion to send the buyer a email with a deadline to pick it up or you will charge say $20.00 a day storage fee. You should be able to search his profile on ebay and find his phone number. You also could contact ebay to check on your options. I only offer these suggestions as you might get into a legal problem. Sometimes things happen and I would think once the person paid they will get the item. Good Luck

Almost certain that the situation would be covered by the law. Anyway I'd take it easy for a while, the buyer could be in hospital or anything.
