OH my GAWD!

I know this is the 280zx forum. But you guys still need to take a look at this.

http://forum.200sx-ogn.org/viewtopic.php?t=13683

Yes ladies and gentlemen, that is a Z. And yes that is a very big engine and trans. I particularily like how he set it way back so the engine doesn't even sit in front of the shock towers. That tranny is almost as big as the car!

I would've posted this in the Z forum instead of ZX, but this is the only forum I read and respond in, so I decided to put here for your veiwing pleasure.

All I can say is that guy is nuts crazy SOB! Anyway that is insane, I have never seen anybody put a Viper v-10 in a Z! But my question is. Where the H#ll is he putting the interior! That trans is friggin' huge! But I bet that thing would scoot on down the road! Talk about a sleeper!

Hmm, rigid mounts, bad welds, structure severly compromised, no frame, I bet as soon as it touches the ground it will fold up like a beer can. Looks like another abandoned project waiting for the right day for him to say **** it!

My future project will probably be the same, but at least I'll be able to say I did it. Hey man, we're in America, that's all that matters, Columbus said he found America and that's why we learn about him in school, not the Native Americans that where already here. He said he found it, so he's remembered for finding it.

too much time and money . . . . .thats what i want

i would take all that money he put into motor and find a way to make a Z a mid engine car or something crazy like that. i mean, its nice and all. but the motor swap thing has been done. Hes just putting a really big one in. a really, really big and expensive one.

On that Hybrid Z there are pics of someone doing a BMW V12 swap into an earlier Z too. Hows that for an insane amount of money! Puts the Viper and RB swaps to shame.

right on, I was an F16 Crew Chief in the air force.. I've seen the video of the guy who put the JFS off of an F16 into his Z.... That was awesome. As for the F16 itself, awesome jet... PAIN IN THE *** to work on.
