we have a 86 nissan 200sx turbo in the impound lot here at my salvage yard, body is in great shape...good looking car, it has been here for 60 days and is now available for me to purchase, if i can get this car cheap, is it worth my while? does it have potential? what is the stock hp/torque rating on the turbo motor? I really dig this car it is slick looking and i am willing to do the work on it if the car has some good potential.

 

whats the milelage? all stock? whats the condition? and the price?

 

Oooo ... The S12 Silvia, nicknamed the "Gazelle". They're stout cars, real nice potential. Under the hood you'll find the CA18ET. I'm unsure about hp/tq ratings, but you can boost the **** out of that motor. I think 350-400hp is possible on the stock bottom end.

I say snag it. If I came across one of those cars in excellent shape, and with low miles, I'd seriously consider trading my Rx7 for it.

dont know this car was hauled in, i cannot see the cluster it has no keys and the sucker is locked up. car is in good shape minus a small rust spot below the rear drivers window. im sure i will be able to buy it for 500 or less. only thing i would guess is some motor work needs to be done, but other than that i dont know.
