New Speakers for 280zx

I just bought some speakers from a freind. I have never heard of the brand. MB Qurts. Neather has any of my freinds. I installed them temp on my mom's 03 ranger. And they rattle EVERYTHNG. even the side mirros have to be reset after turning on the speakers. They make the cd player skip. They are MB Qurts 10". the two speakers and box scall at 38 pounds. Most surpriseing thing is. they are doing all this on a cheap lil 120 Watt amp. Has any one ever heard of these speakers?

MB-Quart?

Hah, only one of the most high-end speaker manufacturers out there. Their stuff is the **** - for lack of better description. My Dad's got a pair of MB-Q 6" mids, a pair of 6x9"s, and one of their amplifiers in our Grand Marquis - the sound is insane. It makes our stock deck seem like a top-end Alpine unit!

How much did you pay for them? MB-Qs are expensive as ****, so I'm betting you got them for a steal.

I don't need anymore stuff falling off my walls. My Fisher Studio Standard with two Fisher 15''s takes care of that for me. Not a bad home system from 1988.
