Cool New possible Owner!

Hi my name is Andrew and I am going to look at a 82 280 today. The guys basically said the only thing it will need eventually is a new starter (works right now but has been acting up? said it would be about $60 bucks) and the cruise control doesnt work and just needs a chip?

I have loved Z's ever since my brother has a 300 back in the day but never got one. I know nothing about the 280's. it has 138K miles and looks to be in good shape, although its a tan/black combo which I am not a big fan of. He said He could do $2500. Good deal?

Any advice would be welcome as this will be my only car, aka things to look out for. Just looking for a fun daily driver, and I am a fan of older cars. I just sold my 83 Alfa Romeo Spider which had been my daily.

Thanks for the Help.

WOW! it does look really nice, like skib said look for rust...that would be your biggest concern. If you get a chance get more pictures, like the engine bay and the rear? and welcome to Zdriver!

If it's as rust free as it looks, it's a good deal...to me anyway..lol
