Put it on, if it isn't loud enough then you can still melt the glass when its on the car.

If I'm not mistaken, those are pretty loud as is. Just how loud do you want the car? Loud can be good, but it has it's drawbacks if you're not building a race car. One, every decible you raise the exhaust note is louder the stereo has to be just to hear it. And two, loud draws attention, and it's usually not the good kind. Most people, especially cops don't like a loud exhaust unless it's on their own car. I made the mistake of going really loud on my Z, and now I'm really regretting it. I ripped out all the insulation and carpeting too, that was also a mistake as the Z is my only car now and it's a lonely road when all you can hear is the exhaust and road noise. I also don't have ac so the windows are down 95% of the time, and that's even more noise. The person sitting next to me literally has to yell just for me to hear them when riding on the hwy(even when the windows are up). If you like loud, and cops aren't a problem in your area, then I suppose louder is better for you. But beware, eventually, that hollowing that muffler may come back to haunt you when it's all you hear everytime you drive your car.

That wasn't a lecture or anything, and I'm not some senile old man who complains whenever I hear a loud car(unless it's a coffee can honda exhaust that sounds like its about to fall off ). In fact I'm only 24 and I'm only sharing the lessons I've learned over my few short years. It's good to live in the moment, as long as you plan ahead. Good luck with your new muffler, and at the very least, I hope atleast you like the way it sounds on your car.

lol, he got the idea from me to put the glasspack on it. I have a glasspack on my Z, and it's not too loud, but it makes my presence known. I can scare the **** out of any rice with it though.
