I may have just missed a connector or something, however before removing the dash agian I was wondering if anyone could point my twords some more specific info on what im looking for under there. Thanks

 

You are talking about the warning display box between the speedo and tach right?

I dont think 280zx's have check engine lights, which I didnt realize until now

 

yes that one exactly.

 

I wish you luck on that one. I even replaced the unit with my good one out of my T-top, and no dice. It still wont work at all. Which means I have a wiring problem, which I will tackle much later.

 

I would just suggest taking off the kick panels and feeling around the back of the dash for wires that aren't connected or something, and if you do find one, investigate it first before you plug it in, this one time I was looking at the back of my radio and found two wires that were not connected and I figured hey they probably go together, I connected them and blew a fuse lol.
