hidden in the north west rotting away in this dudes back yard like a sad site are not one but two 82 280zx both are T top cars both are brown on brown one is a TUBRO car one is not I TRIED TO BUY THE TUBRO CAR FOR $250 but he wants to sell them both for $500 the tubro car was runniing when he parked it but BOTH cars have alot of body damage
to much for me to take on but a motor swap and part swap from the tubro car is what iam going to do WHAT I NEED TO KNOW IS how much to sell the L28E motor for and if any one will want parts form ether of the cars

idk how much value a l28e would have. I'm guessing not a whole lot. Maybe you can swap the engines an put your old l28e in the used to be turbocharged 280zx and resell the car or something

 

$500 for both is not a bad deal especially if you plan on doing a turbo swap. You could part out the rest and make your money back.

 

If the NA engine has fairly low miles and you have any evidence of it you might get $300-400 for it but that's probably not the case. A higher milage L28 will most likely be rebuilt by a potential buyer so the value is about $200-250 for those.

You can also sell the transmission if its a 5-speed. Automatics hardly ever sell. $50 if you can even find someone to buy it.

 

sweet, if the intirior isnt in bad shape i need a lot of stuff for my 82. color doesnt matter, i can change that. also if the coolant reservoir dosent leak, i need it and its sensor. the turbo hood grilles. the plastic lower valence in front. lots of stuff. if its all in ok condition, something i could refurbish.
