Rod, You did goiod with your Z. We will all(if not already) have Z's to be very proud of. I am proud of mine right now, even if that means i got to roll it down a hill just to drive it. That's another Z made road worthy and purdy by a Z'er. Keep her purdy, keep her clean. Good Job, Fubar

Man, I love the covers, love the wheels, and the way they fill up the wheel wells, what are they?? love the interior, just be careful with that AXE body spray . love the exhaust, especially how the tips point up.

I do have to say a few things though, That rear windshield wiper, really needs to go. Is that stock, mine does not have one. And looking at your pics I am really glad that it doesn't. The car has a very nice sleek rear end till that big wiper arm gets in the way.

And second, is there any way to lower that antenna, it really does make it look like a RC car. Just a couple inches at least, that antenna looks like it's 6 feet tall.

Other than that I think your car is very very nice. You have one bad a$$ Z. Hopefully mine will look as good, when it is done.

( the opinions expressed in this post, are just that, opinions, do not take offense )

Actually, the original pics were higher resolution and a lot BIGGER, but I shrunk them and compressed them so they would fit and not take those poor souls with dial up a hundred years to view. I usually use a good 35mm camera, but my wife thinks I'm crazy for not using digital. These are digital and I'm not that impressed. One of these days I'll take some more good quality pics with the REAL camera and scan them. Probably won't happen until after the body kit goes on and it get's re-shot.

Thanks for all the compliments. Sorry it took me so long to do it. Between trying to run a business, have a wife and 3 kids, and the whacky damn on againg-off again rain we've had, it's been hard to get around to waxing her all up and taking some pics. It was worth the wait though wasn't it?

WildmaN, Thanks dude. You rock, and your Z will soon look as good or better than mine does with all the hard work and love you put into that car. You're an inspiration for sure.

I just had a 45 minute impromptu conversation with some random 18 year old kid at Starbucks about Z cars. He rolled up in an S13 (240SX) and jumped out of his car saying "Oh my God!!!! Whose Z is this???!!!". Turns out he has a nice 240Z at home with some new front end damage so he has to roll the Sylvia until it gets fixed. He was a true Z lover.

I love how these things bring people out of the woodworks to talk about Z's

Rod.

No problem Rod, and seeing your Z makes me more determined to get mine roadworthy, and more. We have all influenced each other in one way or another. That is what's great about this forum. Helping each other out, and exchanging ideas. There is a lot of us on here with ideas, and cool creations. But also when somebody needs help, or pointers. I go on here every day, and see what is shakin' on here.

As for the rear wiper, don't take it off. I think it makes the Z look better. When I do get my older 280z I want. I thought about putting a rear wiper on it. I think that would be sweet, and one of a kind. Although I am sure somebody has done it. But I haven't seen it as of yet. Anyway the rear wiper reminds me so much of an old Ferrari I remember when growing up.(I think it was called a Portofino) It had the rear wiper in back with the spare tire showing through the back hatch. It looked awesome, and I want to do the same thing in my Z. Put the same wheel, and size tire, and strap it the cargo area. So it shows through the back window. I think it would be different, and I like to stick out there.

Now on the antennae, making your Z look like an RC car. Being I am still a kid inside, I think that is cool. It is a real RC car, that is going down the road. Anyway I will stop rambling now, but this is all my opinion. Like I have said before. "different strokes for different folks"

rod, i saw you had a can of that AXE stuff in there. i would not leave it there too long. one day i got some sample can of it, and it fell out of the bag and was sitting in the cargo area. i didnt notice, and i left the car in the driveway. it got really hot out, and when came out to go somewhere, i saw a big crack in my windshield from the INSIDE. and the little can was all crushed between the dash and the windshield. needless to say, i got pissed and swore a lot. at least my car smelled pretty good for a while. oh, and your car looks f**king sweet!!!! good job.

Sweet. That looks awsome. I never really liked red and black together, but your Z pulls it off really well. Im jealous.
It feels like AGES since the last time I was able to wax up my Z. She has been primed almost a year. I gotta get the whip crackin and finish. Im going crazy dreaming about what its going to end up looking like and making my first MSA appearance with the finished product.

We're gonna have to start refering to Rod as the "AXE Man". HAHAHA. First thing I noticed, other than how awesome that car is getting. I wanna drive out there someday just to get a first hand look....

Props to Rod

Rear wiper and power antenna: Two of the first parts to hit the trash bin along with the emblems, side markers, and rocker moulding. Clean lines are sexy lines. IMO
