HELP !!!!!!!!!! TAILLIGHT's WONT TURN OFF

I need help.

my brake/tail (red lights)WONT TURN OFF.... they just stay on and when i turn on the lights. the left side goes off and the right side stays on. so im totaly screwed driveing @ night....

things possable.
I got a i new stereo installed.
why i dont think its that is cuz i un hooked it and the amp and the speakers and lights where still on.

i got my muffler bracket welded...

you could have a short at your headlight switch on your steeringwheel column.. trust me ive had 2 ZXs and they both had simmilar problems... the first thing id do is see if it is the switch.. take out the lower dash panel on the drivers side under your steering column.. then remove the electrial clips that goes to the switch.. if your lights still stay on then youve got a short somewhere else..

my lights are hot wired so that can be it ? see i have headlights solderded to side lights. But its never did this befor...

so do i need new coper pins and stuff. or the switch it self ?

daymn.. it looks like your gonna have to trace your short... cuz you got me stumped.. if worse comes to worse you might have to rewire your tail lights and adda relay..

also brakes ant working. real sucks think its cuz of my hot wired light switch but not 100% shure. might take it into shop today but i do want a light switch stearin collom braket thingy first. so i dont have to pay 400$ for them to tell me i need that pos.

i pulled off the lower dash (ac stereo) and theres like wires cut everywher i could have cut some pullon em cause the ***** sharp as hell der il take a pic 4 ya'all to help me lol

so robert? any luck on finding that short? you.. your prolly best off on trying to get a whole new wire harness from a junk yard and replace the ones you cut and pulled out...
