head liner

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good material or something that will look good to redo my headlinder without actually buying a real one from motorsport or something?
Thanks
Matt

vinyl, leather, suede, ostrich skin . Just find something that matches the rest of your interior. I think suede looks really good as a headliner. You could always just use cloth too.

Yeah I am going to use grey cloth in mine. My mom is going to help me get it, cut out. And attach it to the cardboard. Shouldn't cost me more than $10.

I'm goin two-tone suede (Blue/Silver) for my interior, all done by me! That'll be one hell of a learning curve!

Gotta keep it OG, man! I got a two-tone silver exterior, with the two-tone Blue/Silver interior. For the headliner, above the mirrors and the hump on the center where the lights are is gonna be blue, then everything else will be a light gray. I am currently working on my custom center console, but I ran out of money. I carved out a recesion (not sure if that's actually a word) that I am going to use a high density foam to create a lip around and mold my stereo remote into, all covered in...Blue suede. And for any future dissis on this being ricer-ish, it's nothing more than creative productivity through boredom. don't you love my terminology!?!?

i did mine with fabric from walmart $5.00 and headliner spray from the parts store $9.00 bill . If you use the spray you have to wait after you spay at least 20 mins befor you putt the fabric on.... the spray should become tacky .Or it will bleed though and you will see it on the fabric..Also you should use the headliner board as a patturn befor you lay the fabric down..the hardest part is getting all the plastic parts removed with out messing them up... have fun

Just a tip, if you decide to use vinyl let it set in the sun and put it on warm then when it contracts you will get a tighter headliner. Good Luck
