i was checkin out a locla yard website and theyre having an "engine sale" and theres a 79 engine on there for $249, i was wondering if thats a decent price for an engine out of a yard car?

basicly an engine with an unknown history

 

A non turbo motor? Why bother? Turbo or nothing!!!

I did a quick nationwide search on www.car-parts.com and found about 200 L28's going from $750 to $100.

 

for a yard motor, that sounds a little high. the yard near me, they give ANY engine for like $150 or something close to that. maybe 175. it may be bad already.

 

alright i'll pass it up, more money for the rabbit and exhaust for my car
