Can anyone tell me the fuel line size of the line coming from the tank to the fuel pump on my '82?? Is it 7/16th or 5/16, or am I way off??

Hmmm For The Rail Its 7/16th I Believe... Have To Look At It.

 

the rail IS 5/16, and i believe the pump is too.

well, I got a clear filter at Autozone for $4, but it didn't have the size listed on the box. It's a 45 degree in-out type of thing, which will help make up for the fact that I don't have the original line with the 45 degree bend in it. I priced one out from Nissan once, and it was some ridiculous amount, so this will make the 45 degree bend for me. Hopefully that, and a new standard filter will clear up the issues I'm having...

umm if its clear it could be for a carb. car. then when the fuel pressure builds. it will blow that thing to kindom come.
