Alright, I put in the new Air Regulator and set the timing and idle. Tweaked around with it a little more here and there and... IT RUN'S PERFECT NOW.

Off to the smog center tomorrow where I'm sure it will pass and I won't have to worry about it again 'til 2007.

After I get it smogged, I just have to take it all apart again to re-install cold air intake and header... oh well.

Damn emissions. They just hold us back. I'm glad I live in nebraska so I don't have to worry about them, but I'm wanting to move back to Oceanside California so I will have to worry about it someday.

What do you mean s/cl? Last time I did my '81 I got 2 year tags for him. Also when I did my '83 Celica, I got 2 year tags, and that was last year. Did they change it since then? That would friggin' suck if they did.

And by the way Rod, glad to hear that was your problem. I wish I could figure out mine on my '82. Oh well I will worry about it, after I get the interior done. And install the headers. Good luck on emissions tomorrow man. I hope all works out for you!

 

In WA we get on year tags but emission checks are done only every other year. Too bad, I was going to wait untill right after my next emissions check to do my engine swap. Gotta do it now though just to drive the car.
