Electic Windows...

Does anyone know whether the electrical on my '82 passes from the driver's side window control THROUGH the passenger side control, and then to the motor?? Just wondering, since it just quit working for the window to go up (passenger side) from both controllers, and after jiggling the passenger side contoller enough, it let me put the windows up. I kinda figure that since the passenger side controller doesn't get used very often, it gets corroded, but that would mean the driver's side should work, unless somehow it passes through the passenger side somehow and without being engaged, works the window motor. Haynes shows little on the subject. Also, does anyone know where you can pick up cheap replacements that are compatible, without having to go to Nissan??

Thanks,

Carl

Besides bying used switches from a wrecked car (which couldn't be much better than yours) have you tried completely dissasembling the passenger side switch and cleaning all contacts and wires? That might do it.

Well since the rains have dried up, it's working again, so it has to do with moisture. I'll have to look into sealing the system up somehow...

Thanks, Bleach
