I dont remember ever being able to find die cast 280ZX's ever. MSA has a couple now and in a few colour schemes.

Those are an outrageous price for a 1/43 scale model

There are actually quite a few up on ebay if you take a look

I know . . .they are way too much for that size. How big is 1/43 anyways?

1/43 I would say is half the size of a regular model kit. Which are usually 1/24 to 1/25 scale.

I bought mine from the Autobacs store when I was down that way for the MSA show this year. The base of each says "1 of 3000", so who knows how many are out there. I might've seen it for a couple bucks cheaper around the internet I think. At this scale, it's approx 5" long. The detail and paint are pretty nice (better be, for the price!) but unfortunately, the doors, hood, and trunk don't open up.

A normal hotwheel or matchbox car that you pick up at walmart is 1/64 scale so its just a little bigger than that. Those ones from MSA look to be a lot better quality then the ones on ebay. Those ones are all pretty cheesy looking.
