Dammit

So, I have replaced the fuel pump and the fuel regulator and the fuel injectors. And the fuel lines. The spark plugs the fuel filter. The distrbutor the wires. The rotor cap and button. And still no ignition. I know the engine will run because i can put fuel in the throttle body and it will run as long as im supplying fuel. I took a noid light and made sure that the injectors are getting the signal. They are. I went ahead and replaced the wireing anyways. Im at the brink, Not to sure how much more I can put up with this replaceing everything on the car. Any ideas ?

does your pump run? fuel pump relay?

if it will run with the fuel in the intake then all systems are go, and fuel injectors are firing..did you check fuel pressure?

Si, no fuel is getting to your injectors. When you replaced the fuel pump did you wire it back up correctly? It's polarity specific and if you wire it up backwards it will pump the fuel into the tank instead of into the engine. Thats if the pump is even coming on. When you turn the key to "ON" you should hear the pump kick on. If not then there's your problem. If you dont hear the pump click on then listen under the dash on the passenger side for a click as you turn the key to "ON". That would be the pump relay powering up. Check for either noise from the pump and/or the relay and let us know.

try hot wiring the pump with jumpers or spare battery, then see if the car runs like that, they are polarity specific, and if hooked in reverse they dont work at all. or are the lines to the fuel rail on backwards, if they are then the regulator wont let fuel through.

She runs!
It apparently in the two days i was trying to crank her fouled out the second set of plugs. I checked to make sure the plugs were getting spark(they were) and didnt suspect the plugs to be fouled, as they were 2 days old. But pulling them revealed that they had indeed fouled. New plugs and presto. After 13 years of sitting in a barn she runs again. Now If i can only figure out why when my hazard fuse is in it drains my battery and the same with the fuse labeled "clear.light"
Thanks for all your helpful suggestions.

Congrats on getting it to run. Plugs can be such a PITA because they have the worst tendancy to foul when you least expect it.

They are polarity specific, but if you wire it up backwards the pump will still operate. It will just flow in reverse.

And Nismo: First of all, dont ever buy plugs for a Z at Autozone. They dont have NGK at Autozone and so you've got no purpose buying the plugs there in the first place. Second, it's highly unlikely that you'd come across 6 plugs that wouldn't fire. It's rare to come across one plug that wont fire at all. 2 new plugs: unlikely. But 6? You should've bought a lottery ticket instead. The gap was probably too large for the spark to jump.

the front line on the car is in, back one out. and the top (i think but check description) of the rail is in. the way you can tell on that one is if you find the regulator on the rail and follow the line to the front, thats the "out" correct me if im wrong.

you just confused the hell out of me. All i got, that i know of, is two lines from fule rail runing with each other that runs around the front of the valve cover by the belts, one line on top of the other. I got top as in fule, and bottom as out.

The top metal line of the fuel rail (where the rubber connects) is the inlet. The line from the filter should run to this line.

If you look at the pressure regulator you will see a fuel line coming out the bottom of it. Follow that line back around to the front of the engine and on to the passenger side. This is the line that goes back to the tank.

Thats a simplified version of what SHADY already said
