Are the injectors spraying fuel? Are you getting spark to the plugs? |
to check the injectors do i pull them and turn the key to see if they spray?

Well Yeah I Guess I Can Do That Too.. Lol If I Have To Get Injectors Are There Any Ones I Can Get To Also Increase Performance Like 400 Cc From A Supra Or Something? Remember Mine Is N/a
some from a turbo! might as well :wasted:
If I Get Turbo Injectors I Have To Do More Than Just R'2 The Injectors
r'2 whats that mean?
Remove And Replace... Sorry Airforce Lingo
hmm, i don't believe so, give me an example of what you'd have to do. Ask shady i do believe he's running turbo injectors in his n/a
you'd run a lil' rich at idle and part throttle if you went with turbo injectors without some how compensating for the increased flow.
So In Your Opinion J What Would My Best Bet Be If I Need To Replace My Injectors?
Hell I Might Even Sell The Damn Car To Save Towards A Pantera... Lol Jk (still Want A Pantera Though) |
I'd stick with the stock size injectors. Unless you're planning on getting pretty wild with an NA setup, like Shady has, then the stock flow rates are fine. The turbo injectors are a drop in swap though. No mods needed to make them fit and no rewiring is required. As far as brand goes, I know a few of our members have used a few different brands and could probably give you their first hand experiences with the whole "which brand should I use?"

kool thnks
Yeah I'd say just stick with stock. They'll work just fine. No need to upgrade, especially if it's more trying to get it to run at the moment.
As for a Pantera...I saw one go down the street the other day. That was pretty cool. A month or two ago, I saw a Ford GT pulling out of the gas station the same street! That was insane. :unibrow: |
i can get a pantera for 40k just don't have the cash..
man, every one disagree's with me huh, i thought his was mildly modded, but guess not. when i upgrade my injectors i'll give ya the turbo one's i got, or someone in need...damn can't anyone agree with me.lol

I got brand new Beck Arnley's for my '82. And they work great, not a problem at all. And they spray just like they are supposed to. And they only cost me a little over $400, back in February from BAP import parts.
Ok Kool, I'll Try The Starter Fluid Trick To Check For Spark.
I went to Advance auto and bought two injectors there for my 82 N/A and they are fine...like $30 apiece though. I just wish I had all new connectors and those plastic things that hold the injectors in...I broke two of mine and had to use super glue to sort of fix them...but no leaks :)
