Bye Bye ZX

Hello Zfolk,

Well I have unsettling news, I had to sell my ZX due to economic reasons. Unfortunately, I am looking for another place of employment and to make ends meet I had to sell my 1981 280ZX. I got $3K for it and it is going to an owner in Brazil. I enjoyed coming to this site for information and reading about all the projects, problems and solutions that this incredible group of Z enthusiasts provided. I will continue to visit and I will buy another 280ZX one day, but this time it will definitely be a turbo. I have a bunch of parts that I will be selling on ebay soon. All I know is that thanks to the current administrations cancelling of the constellation program I am now out of work. I can handle that. I think it broke me down to sell my ZX because I put so much of myself into that car
I know I didn't post that much but I logged in regularly. Just know that I will be back someday

Thanks guys and say a prayer for me, these are some tough times to deal with.

Agreed. Parting with a Z is a hard thing to do. Hell, I just managed to get a '72 Camaro that needs work, and the wife asked me to sell my ZX and buy a more economical car. Somehow I managed to convince her to let me keep my ZX as a daily driver, as well as the camaro as a project.

Good luck with your job search, mate. And we'll be waiting for your return!
