From that angle it actually looks good. From any other angle it's just too obvious that the bumper is missing. That 280zx just needs a fat IC to fill the hole.

It actually looks good in person, I'll have to ask him how he did it next time I'm at the meet. I'll tell him to come on Zdriver.

How he removed the front bumper? Eight bolts and two wire connections...

There's a picture of mine with no bumper. It might look better with my airdam on however.

you might also want to get rid of the bumper struts if you are going bumperless..

I have no plans to go bumperless. I just took it off for the meanwhile, since I was welding and grinding in the area. I didn't want my bumper to melt on me. It'll go on after the paintjob.

what kind of airdam is that? That's what I'd be all for doing, throw that air dam on, intercooler, no bumper, it'd look pretty sweet. I mean compared to alot of the newer vehicles today, our bumpers sit so low that they really serve no purpose in helping our cars as the rear bumper of everything else sits up too high.

Eh I know what the final look would be. I would def find a later s130 plastic all in one airdam that tin garbage I could see flapping around . Then you have the slots where your mount holes are for the bumper. But How would you like doing something tottally awsome to your car then you take it to a cruise night just to have a punk copy cat parked a few cars down.
