Not sure, but in the movie it looks like Jim Carrey is driving a 2+2 280zx.

they never show badges but it is definately a z. either 240,260, or 280z but its not a 280zx

If you lok at the bumpers they are 280Z. Dont get a good enough look to tik what year.

You mean a 280 the 240 and 260 had the blinkers in the front under the bumper. The 280 had them in the grill.

I thought it was a 280Z ,but I could be wrong. I was sick when they wrecked it, though. It was in pretty good shape, but then, they probably had a dozen of them for filming. The Saleen S7 he had afterwards was nice, though... :)

There were no 240Z 2+2's made. The first 2+2 was a 260Z.

I haven't seen the movie in a while, but for some reason I was thinking it was a 260Z while watching the movie....

Anyway, a 280Z 2+2 is far more common than a 260Z 2+2. And why would they care about wrecking a $2500 car for a movie!?! Other movies destroy cars worth 30 times that much!

we just all hold z cars close to our harts and it hurts just a littel to see somthing that we all love here a zdriver get destroyed like that. So let them weep its ok . let them be angry for its there right.

What i want to know is who the hell would go out and buy a Sallen S7 after you wreak your 280Z, I don't about you guys but I would go buy another Z!

Spoken like a dedicated Z owner. With as much $ as God though, I'd buy something more than an S7.

I dunno why, but I've never been a fan of "exotics", which is probably why I own the cars I do and am pretty content to lust only for mods to them.

But by looking at the cars you drive, it's obvious you like working on cars. You have a Daytona, a Laser, A Corrado and an Eclipse. Boy, you're a glutton for punishment. You must have more patience than I do.
