Big improvement over the stockers. Very nice red. Bummer on the front though. Atleast you get a new one to replace it though. Post some more pics when you get it.

hey red, if I'm not mistaken those are fiberglass pieces, are they not? If not, just disregard this post. But almost any fiberglass part you buy, especially something large and complicated like an airdam will more than likely have to have some work done to make it fit right. When these parts are mass produced alot of the steps required to get the part perfect are omitted inorder to have a larger, cheaper out put of parts. Most of the time, the parts get pulled from the mold too early. And fiberglass is usually just layed up by hand a left to cure in open air. Anyways, my point is, if the part will even mount up to the car without some elbow work, be happy. Thats more than a lot of Civic owners can say about their kits. In reality, most fiberglass body kits are gonna need a fair amount of massaging to get them to fit just right. When you pay extremely high dollar for limited run kits, then you should expect a perfect fit and finish. See how well an ings or Veilside kit fits a car compared to a Kaminari. No comparison. But hopefully atleast the next one wont be damaged.

Welding such a rare commodity these days. People take advantage of that stuff all the time. As soon as I got the time and money, it's welding 101 for me. I think its a skill anybody who works on their own car should have. That, alignments, and tire changes are the only thing I pay to have done to my car as it is. Save myself some money and take welding off that list. You live in a small area? I had some guy quote me $60 to weld my stock muffler back on my car after it fell off. F*** that!! I took to a couple other places til I found someone to do it for a $20 bill. But if you dont have different place to choose from, what can you do but learn it yourself.

$12.94 at Autozone, and a trip to my friend's house to use his welder is all it takes for me to get an exhaust. Of course, I won't be running anything besides a straight pipe out the side [SCCA's ITS-category has no noise restrictions as far as I know].

Looks like it's coming along quite nicely, Red. I think that wing is killer too - looks like its off an Rx7 ... ?

very nice red, good work. i only wish i had time to work on mine. it feels like its been forever since i have been to the shop to work on my Z. i wanted it done by this summer but since i took on a 3rd job i havent touched her. i gotta get my garage cleaned up so i can work in there late at night instead of always having to rely on the shop. oh well, cant rush it.
