Blower motor?

I need to replace the blower motor but dont want to spend the scrill for a replacement. Has anyone replaced just the motor with something from grainger or radioshack?

People have used an 89 Civic blower motor. You can get those cheap at the yards. The only thing you have to do is do a little splicing to work, and the plus is the Civic blower moves a lot more air.

What wires do you have to splice together? How much more air does this move,is it worth it?
