Nice pics, haha, I talked to the guy with the black Z31 and it turns out he lives in the same prefecture as my parents do! That was pretty cool. All of the guys in that Z club were friendly, met 4 of them. And your car looked awesome at the show btw.

Does anyone know where to get a fender flare job like that gold/champagne 280ZX on top? Particularly in CA, near the Bay Area. Are there ready-made fender flare kits available?

its kinda funny how in japan they want thier cars to look like the american version and how over here in the US we want out cars to look like the japanese versions... i guess thats why the guy from japan put the datsun cap on his steering wheel and he also took off his fender mirrors and put them on the doors just like the US versions..

Love those flared guards, that's what i wanted to do to my 280. I got a pretty tidy one with low k's and was rebuilt 17 years ago by a race company, similar mags to those ones as well. tidy inside and out (haven't got any inside shots though)

stroked, bored, ported, etc etc, having fuel issues at the moment but once sorted should be nice and quick not quite as quick as those rb26'ers up there but quick enough

That's really nice. I'd be interested to hear what's been done to the motor and drive line.

It appears to be the Bomex front bumper. Offhand, it's the only one I'd seen those vents on.

not sure where it came from but have seen similar ones since then, and yeah it's my fave out of all the front bars i've seen also. I was about to buy one for my old 280 when i found this car with the exact same one on it, strange irony but i was happy
what's been done... hmm
nismo head, nismo suspension. cyl's bored to 88.5 from memory, stroked with ld28 crank, tomoe pistons, lots of other bits and pieces, i'm trying to upgrade the fuel system at the moment as it uses way too much fuel for not enough performance, and what with fuel going up in price i can't afford to do it anymore. all original interior in smicko condition, paint is tidy, engine is tidy with chrome rocker cover, looks sharp. taking it to a concourse on sunday, hopefully i go alright
