Is the auxilliary cooling fan worth having?

Is the auxilliary cooling fan worth having?

I don't like how the auxilliary cooling fan stays on after I shut the car down. If I unplug it, am I asking for trouble?

I don't think it'll hurt anything i think a lot of people take it out anyway i think its jsut to cool down the intake to prevent vapor lock.. mine doesn't work anyway so....

It should only come on if the car was ever above ~200 degrees during the run. It's not super duper important, but the reason Nissan put it on was to aid in preventing vapor lock. We've had discussions on it before...
