I was looking through a blackdragon catalog today and I was reading the part about the VINs, production dates, etc. They list 6/83 as the last of 83 model year, and the end of the 280ZX. 7/83 is listed as 1984 model year and the very first month for the 300ZX. So I was curious to see what month my 83' ZXT was from, and it shows 7/83 for the production date. I know my car is still titled and labeled as an 83', but according to Black Dragon I should have a 1984 300ZX.

Yeah I was bored. I thought it was kind of interesting that it looks like I have one of the very last 280ZXs made.

 

The next year's production line starts the August before... so 09's will be out in Aug 08.
