82 280zx NT Exhaust
New question guys, I've read several posts concerning 2.5" to 3" exhaust. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a good brand for the header as well as the exhaust, or perhaps this is one set.
Also, is this an upgrade that requires welding or can I just do this in my garage?
Thanks again gang zdriver.com rules in my opinion.

oops, also, is this a good upgrade to start with, I'm not looking to race I just want to get to the best balance of economy and sport while staying as "visibly" stock as possible.

I'm jelous, you have the car I have been looking for, Its hard to find. I used to have a 1982 280zx non turbo with the red interior. A mack truck cut me off and ruined my car, and now all I do is look for another one. Cant fine one. Would you consider selling it? I live in Connecticut. I know this isn't the question you were asking, but it never hurts to ask.

well, depends on the price, of course. I know exactly what your talking about though. It's taken us a year to come up with a 280 in this good a shape, and a ZX was what we were looking for. I have actually been quite blown away that the original interior is in such good shape. Private email me or ICQ if you'd like to talk further.
