Thanks Rod. My car runs great. Its just that $375 piece of crap T5 I installed behind the engine that isn't working so well.
I got pics, but they are at home. I was up way too late last night...

Ohh, it is noticeable on the car. Looks like a candidate for media blasting. Or, maybe a $30 'Spot Blaster' from HarborFreight...?

oh man LWW. Fine, maybe I'll take it off and spray it with some flat black 1200 deg temp paint. That'll clean it up and hide it.
...or maybe I shall use my stare technique on the rusty manifold heat shield...

For my next trial, I will remove the rusty nuts on the turbo downpipe using only chopsticks.

So, let me hop in this thread and ask you a few questions. What kind of power numbers are you hoping to put down once done, and what's a rough estimate of how much this is gonna cost you; for the motor work alone.

In the future I plan to run all stock electronics, injectors, and turbo. Add a RRFPR and boost up to 14psi with an intercooler. Stock throttle, intake, ect. It would be nice to get 240whp or more.
Turbo parts car: ~$500 after costs of transport
Second Turbo motor: $100 80% complete
Gaskets, paint, and misc: $50-100 I got hooked up though, had some gaskets already too
Timing set: $75 new chain, tensioner, ect
JSK Fuel Rail: ~$100 but I got a better deal than that
2.5" custom downpipe: $100 for you, but super cheap for me, S/C3.0 is awsome
Running a stock engine is super cheap, really. The accessories later on are what cost you. Intercooler, pipes, guages, BOV, boost controllers, exhaust mods, ect.
Also, I'm not doing a rebuild. This engine has approx 114K miles and I'm running it as-is with the exception of the gaskets, timing chain, and all hoses being replaced.

I dont think an engine can get any sexier than being painted white. One problem with that beautiful white is that everything thats not white REALLY stands out. Looks really good. Nice down pipe too So how much longer do you think til you drop it in the car?
